NEW: Yume Ramen’s Bellevue! (Jiggly Cat Alert)

Alright, let’s talk about something exciting happening in Zurich’s food scene. You know how sometimes you stumble upon a place and just know it’s going to be popular? I’m getting that feeling about the new Yume Ramen location near Bellevue.

Yes, that Yume Ramen – the same folks who run the great spots at Europaallee and Limmatplatz. They’ve quietly opened their doors on St. Urbangasse 4 and honestly, it feels like a bit of an insider tip right now, but probably not for long.

Why the buzz?

Well, besides their already solid reputation for seriously good ramen (think rich broths, perfect noodles), the Bellevue spot has a couple of things creating some waves:

First, it’s the place in Zurich right now to get that Jiggly panna cotta Cat- dessert 🐱. You’ve likely seen it online or in my recent reel – it’s that super wobbly, adorable cat panna cotta dessert. It’s definitely trendy, undeniably photogenic and actually tastes pretty good too! If you’re curious, Bellevue is where you’ll find it. (They do Kakigori – shaved ice as well, if that’s more your speed).

They’re also doing a special ramen here: the A5 Kagoshima Wagyu Mazeman. It’s a high-end, no-soup ramen with amazing quality beef. Definitely something different and worth trying if you feel like splashing out a little. And even Bento box for lunch!

Of course, all the comforting classics are there too – the Classic Miso Ramen, the Tantanmen, and reliable starters like the crispy Tori no Karaage. Expect ramen mains to be roughly around 25-35 CHF. ( I find Yume restaurants some of the most reasonable priced in Zurich)

The location is great too, super central near the lake.

So, my friendly advice? Check out Yume Ramen Bellevue sooner rather than later. It has that vibe of a place that’s about to get really busy once word fully gets out. Especially if you want to experience that jiggly cat before everyone is lining up for it!

Let me know if you manage to pop by!
