Chocolate Adventures Around Switzerland

Ok chocolate lovers! Whether you live here in Switzerland or come to visit, there are some fun experiences that you don’t want to miss. I gathered for you some information about Switzerland’s best chocolate workshops and experiences included pro tips to plan a delicious unforgettable experience. So let’s dive right into it, Shall we?

Must Visit Chocolate Factories

Lindt Chocolate Factory

Perhaps one of the most iconic attraction near Zurich is the iconic Lindt Chocolate Factory. Where you’ll get to learn about the history of chocolate. Plus, enjoy unlimited chocolate tasting! There are 3 chocolate fountains and a fun “guessing” game where you can try different chunks of chocolate and guess what flavors are involved.

By the end of the tour you will also get to pick one of each of their famous Lindor pralines. Which means you’ll end with a hand full of chocolates as souvenir. The tour cost 15.- CHF for adults and 10.- CHF for kids. And honestly with the amount of chocolate you get it’s totally worth it.

Pro tip: For the best day trip experience I recommend hopping on a cruise from Burkliplatz to Kilchberg instead of the train or the bus. It cost exactly the same as the cruises are part of the normal public transport but it’s way nicer!

  • Address: Lindt & Sprüngli AG, Seestrasse 204, 8802 Kilchberg
  • Price: Tours starting from CHF 15

Also there are a handful of fun workshops you can do that are quite affordable! Starting from 28.- with a duration of 60 minutes. By the end of it you will, of course, get to take your chocolate creations home. If you want to learn more, I made a reel with all the Experiences and workshops at Lindt and you can watch it here.
