Switzerland is a beautiful place to explore magic Christmas markets. As you may know, in the November and December posts you can find all of them. But since they are mixed with other fun traditional events I decided to create here a clear list including only the Christmas markets.

Lausanne – Bô Noël Lausanne from November 17th to December 31st, Plus there is the light festival in town.
Geneva – Noël au Jardin from 17.11-24.12, Make sure to check their awesome entertaining program.
Aarau – Christmas market from the 17th of November till the 23rd December.
Montreux – one of the most beautiful Christmas markets with the flying Santa sleigh happens from 18.11-24.12. Tip: Make sure to come to see Santa at 17:00 to enjoy some day light if you want nice shots, Later can get too dark.
Vevey – Charming little Christmas market from 19.11-31.12 with lots of entertainments and activities.
Chur – Adorable Christmas market from the 25.11-23.12. Tip: check the program for the bell ringers.
St. Gallen – Heart warming Christmas Market in the city of stars from the 24.11-24.12.
Yverdon-les-Bains – Marché de Noël from the 25th of November till the 24th of December.
Stein am Rhein – Christmas market in the stunning little town from the 30.11.22-01.01.23 with plenty of activities for kids mainly in German.
Zurich– Several Christmas markets and activities from the 24.11-23/24.12. Tip: check the hours of the singing tree.
Lucerne – Lucerne host several Christmas markets from the 1st of December on, some last till the 23rd of December.
Lugano – The charming Italian canton host a Christmas market from 01.12-24.12.
Rapperswil-Jona – Small Christmas market by the lake from the 01.12-18.12
Biel – Christmas market from the 1st of December till the 24th.
Bern – Bern host several Christmas markets and activities from the 02.12 till the end of December. Tip: you can visit the famous Zytglogge (clock tower) if you’re in town.
Thun – Christmas market from the 07.12-23.12. Tip: There is an ice-curling on the Mühleplatz.
Nyon – The Christmas market in Nyon opens from the 08.12-24.12. with a 6 meter tree.
Neuchatel – Christmas market by the lake from the 9th of December till the 23rd of December.
